One of the nice little off-the-radar NFL stories took place recently when Jets owner Woody Johnson accepted a delivery from an Indianapolis middle school student.

The student's name is Alaina Finkelmeier, and she is one of 32 eighth-graders who have been a pretty big deal that city. They were the students selected to hand-deliver the city of Indianapolis' Super Bowl 2012 bid package to each NFL t… More

File Under: Chad Pennington, David Harris, James Ihedigbo, Kellen Clemens, Kerry Rhodes, Brett Ratliff, Terrell Owens, Bubba Franks

Bubba Franks made his presence felt at today's OTA practice.

Every time you looked up, Franks, the 6'6", 265-pound tight end who came over from the Packers as a street free agent in March, was snagging a pass for six.

There were some nice snatches at helmet level or above from Chad Pennington in red zone drills. There was No. 88 reaching for a "touchdown" in the corner of the end zone on a zip… More
