The Jets and the Broncos have agreed to terms on a trade that will send ninth-year left tackle Ryan Clady, a four-time Pro Bowl player and two-time All-Pro, to the Green & White. The Jets will send their fifth-round pick (No. 157 overall) in the draft later this month to the Broncos and will receive the Broncos' seventh-round choice (No. 235) as well.

Clady (6'6", 315), who will turn 30 the week before the NFL's 2016 opening weekend, was the first-round choice, 12th overall, out of Boise State by Denver in the 2008 NFL Draft and had played his entire career as the Broncos' left tackle.

In his first five seasons he started all 83 of the Broncos' games, including playoffs, was named to the Pro Bowl in 2009 (starter), '11 (backup behind D'Brickashaw Ferguson) and '12 (did not play), and was named All-Pro first team in '09 and '12.

In the last three years, he started in 17 of the Broncos' 49 games. He suffered a Lisfranc foot injury against the Giants in Game 2 of the '13 season and a torn ACL during OTAs a year ago that cost him his 2015 season.

In between, in 2014, he returned to being a 16-game starter for Denver and a Pro Bowl starter.

The Clady trade comes a day after Ferguson, the Jets' 10-year starter at LT, announced his retirement as an NFL player on Saturday.
