The NFL and United Way's Hometown Huddle is an NFL-wide day of service that provides NFL players, coaches, spouses and staff from each team the opportunity to participate in a variety of community service activities. Each year the Jets Hometown Huddle consists of building a Jets PLAY 60 fitness zone in an underserved community. Since 2008, the New York Jets have donated $450,000 to build PLAY 60 Fitness Zones throughout New Jersey.
