Favre registered many records in his 20-year career. As a second-round pick (33 overall) in the 1991 Draft, Favre was selected by the Atlanta Falcons before being traded to the Green Bay Packers in 1992, where he led the team to only their second winning season in a decade. For the next 18 years he threw for over 3,000 yards per season, marking an NFL record while hitting 4,000 yards in six of those 18 seasons. Favre led the team to three NFC Championships from 1995-1997, earning the league's MVP for each of those seasons. He played for the Jets for one season in 2008.
