The 2025 NFL Draft is fewer than three months away and the Jets hold the No. 7 overall pick. Below are five prospects draft analysts believe could be in play for the Green & White when they're on the clock in Green Bay on April 25.
Michigan DT Mason Graham (6-4, 320)
Graham was a unanimous All-American last season with 45 tackles, 3.5 sacks and 3 pass defenses. The California native was the Rose Bowl Defensive MVP in the 2023 season and would provide depth for a position that has three impending free agents in Javon Kinlaw, Solomon Thomas and Leki Fotu.
"He's not really viewed as maybe a Quinnen Williams type of prospect where he's easy top three, but he's just a safe player," The Athletic's Dane Brugler said. "I hate using that word for a prospect because you never know, but he's got a high floor as an NFL player -- strength, motor, athleticism. He's a former high school wrestler."
CBS Sports analyst Leger Douzable added: "I've been banging the table saying [the Jets] need to have somebody grow with Quinnen Williams in the middle. That way [Graham] can not only learn from Q, but they could feed off each other and elevate their game."
Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan (6-5, 212)
McMillan, a consensus All-American last season, led the Big 12 with 1,319 yards last season and also had 84 receptions and 8 touchdowns. The California native leaves college as the Wildcats' leader in career receiving yards with 3,423 and his 26 touchdown receptions rank third. McMillan was most productive in the 2023 season with 90 reception, 1,402 yards and 10 touchdowns.
"If Davante Adams isn't back, and assuming that'll only happen if Aaron Rodgers isn't back, you have to get help for Garrett Wilson across from him," PFF draft analyst Connor Rogers said. "You can't have teams bracketing and doubling Garrett Wilson. Tet McMillan kind of complements him. Big-body movement skills, red-zone monster and you like your wide receivers to kind of balance each other out."
Penn State TE Tyler Warren (6-6, 261)
Warren was NFL Network lead draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah's selection for the Jets in his first mock draft. Warren led the Big Ten with 104 receptions last season to go with 1,233 yards and 8 touchdowns. The John Mackey Award winner in 2024 was named a first-team All-American as well.
"Warren is one of my favorite players in this draft," Jeremiah said. "He will be popular with his quarterback and running backs as a difference-making in-line tight end."
ESPN's Matt Miller added: "I still think Tyler Warren the titan from Penn State is just one of the absolute best players in this class. I know tight end at seven, some people might think that's a little rich, but look what Brock Bowers did in his rookie season."
Georgia DL Mykel Williams (6-5, 265)
Williams was a two-time second-team All-SEC player for the Bulldogs and totaled 14 sacks over three seasons. He also had 23 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles and 4 pass defenses.
"I tell people that Mykel Williams, if you put him on an NBA team and had him play small forward for the Knicks, he would blend in," ESPN's Field Yates said. "He's that big. This guy has just got this massive reach and he's an incredible athlete.
"Understanding the Jets got a breakout season from Will McDonald last year, continue to add some complementary rushers is never a bad thing in a league where quarterbacks always look great when they have time and space, but the more you can make them uncomfortable, the better chance you have to win."
Georgia LB Jalon Walker (6-2, 245)
Walker, Mykel Williams' teammate, was a first-team All-American last season with 60 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 2 pass defenses and 2 fumble recoveries. Analysts believe teams will be split if the 2024 Butkus Award winner project as an off-the-ball linebacker or an edge rusher in the pros.
"Walker played a ton of snaps as a stand up inside linebacker for Georgia and could not be more dissimilar in terms of body type [Williams]," ESPN's Field Yates said. "Walker is small for an edge, but every time you put on the tape, he just continuously makes plays. He is a superb athlete."
