We don't yet know who the Jets' starting quarterback will be for tonight's second preseason game at Detroit, but we do know that whoever that QB is, he'll get a boost behind him from the running game.
RB Bilal Powell is set to make his preseason debut after practicing all week as he worked his way back from his neck issue.

It's their usual preseason road uniform configuration, as they've worn white/white in four of their five preseason away games under Bowles. However, in the regular season, Bowles has gone white jerseys/green pants in 15 of the Jets' 16 road games since 2015.
John Hussey is tonight's referee. Hussey's first game as an NFL referee was the Jets-Lions preseason opener at Ford Field two years ago. He also refereed two Jets regular season games in 2015, Game 2 at the Colts and Game 12 at the Giants.
