RB Breece Hall found the end zone twice against the Colts on Sunday, but left the field with the feeling that he could have done more in the Jets' 28-27 loss to Indianapolis at MetLife Stadium.

"The offense has to score and put it away," Hall said. "It stings on both sides. But personally, I left plays out there. It is very frustrating because we should have had a win tonight."

The Jets fell behind,13-0, in the second quarter after four consecutive three-and-outs and a turnover on downs by the offense. On the Green & White's final drive of the first half, the offense broke through with a 7-play, 76-yard drive, finished off by a 29-yard TD reception from Hall.

"I will take the blame on the first drive," Hall said. "There was third down [third-and-3 that resulted in no gain] and I mixed the play up and ran into the right guard. That was a drive killer. But luckily, the offense came alive. They got out to a decent lead and we tried to help recover, but the offense has to do its part so that we don't have to come back in the second half."

On the touchdown, set up in Colts territory following Davante Adams' 24-yard catch, QB Aaron Rodgers evaded pressure and passed the ball to Hall short near the line of scrimmage. The third-year tailback found space to his left, cut up field and strode into the end zone for his second receiving TD of the year to make it 13-7.

"Me and Aaron have a great connection and great relationship," Hall said. "We have an amazing chemistry on the field. I wasn't really impressed or surprised by any of it."

Following halftime, LB Jamien Sherwood sacked and stripped Colts QB Anthony Richardson on the second play of the second half and DT Javon Kinlaw recovered the fumble at the Indianapolis 25-yard line.

Hall capitalized on the turnover with an 18-yard rushing score two plays later. He found space off the right side and followed a pair of strong blocks by RG Alijah Vera-Tucker and RT Morgan Moses all the way to the end zone. The score gave the Jets their first lead, 14-13, with 13 minutes remaining in the third quarter.

"It is fun to go out there and watch him and block for him," WR Garrett Wilson said. "You go out there thinking I have to block because I might be the block that sends him to the end zone because it is really that simple with him. He has all the talent in the world and in to add to all that, he is a great football player. It was cool to see him give us the spark we needed."

The game marked the second of Hall's career with multiple touchdowns, his last coming against the Commanders in Week 16 of the 2023 season. He also became the third-youngest player in franchise history with a rushing and receiving TD in the same game.

Hall finished with 23 touches (16 rush attempts, 7 receptions) for 121 scrimmage yards (78 rushing, 43 receiving) and 2 scores. It was Hall's 11th career game with 100-plus yards from scrimmage and fourth this season.

"He is one-of-one and to get to see him show it to the world today was special," Wilson said. "We all know in here for him it always comes together on Sundays. He does his part of make it comes to together."

Following their Week 12 bye, the Jets have 6 games remaining on their schedule, starting with a home game against the Seahawks on Dec. 1. Despite a 3-8 record and the chances of a postseason berth dwindling, Hall expects them to play with high effort down the stretch.

"We need to talk, take constructive criticism and practice hard," Hall said. "We got a chance to revamp and try to get this season going."
