The New York Jets have signed cornerback Darrin Walls to their practice squad and released wide receiver Jordan White from the practice squad. The announcements were made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Walls (6'0", 190), out of Notre Dame, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Atlanta on July 27, 2011, and recorded one interception and two passes defensed in five games as a rookie. He was waived by the Falcons during the preseason on Aug. 27. White (6'0", 215) was a seventh-round selection of the Jets in the 2012 NFL Draft. He was signed to the team's practice squad on Sept. 2 after being waived following training camp six days earlier.
