FanDuel: Jets Fantasy Week 13 Preview

Green & White to Face a Blue MetLife Stadium on Sunday

After two consecutive losses, head coach Todd Bowles and the New York Jets got back on track in a big way with a convincing 38-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. That win keeps them right in the thick of the AFC playoff picture.

In Week 13, they'll be facing off "on the road" against the New York Giants with a chance to further control their destiny toward the postseason. As you watch this important game, which Jets players should be on your radar while playing Fantasy Pass on FanDuel?

Taking proper ownership of MetLife Stadium

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (FanDuel Price: $7,500)

Fitzpatrick's price has stayed relatively the same because he's been consistently good for the most part, but also not out of character, which is great for you. It doesn't hurt that he just threw for 277 yards and a season-high four touchdowns against Miami, either.

According to FFToday, the Giants defense is allowing the second-most fantasy points to QBs in 2015, and numberFire is projecting Fitzpatrick as a top-10 signal-caller. He provides great value if you don't want to pay top-dollar for other QBs.

RB Chris Ivory  (FanDuel Price: $7,100)

As tantalizing as it is to think about the Jets passing attack against the Gmen, don't forget that Gang Green is a run-first squad. Also, Ivory is the clear-cut RB1 getting most of the touches in the backfield.

He's fresh off an 87-yard, one-touchdown performance against the Dolphins, and the Giants just allowed Alfred Morris to rush for 78 yards on 23 carries last week. For this price, he's another good investment.

WR Brandon Marshall (FanDuel Price: $8,100)

The Jets acquired Marshall to be a consistent performer at the top of the WR depth chart and give the passing attack another weapon to pair with Eric Decker. That's worked out nicely so far.

Marshall has six 100-yard receiving games in 2015 and has found the end zone in all but three games. Week 12 vs. Miami was especially good, catching nine of 11 targets for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

He's been targeted at least 10 times in a game on seven different occasions, so the opportunity to score FanDuel Points is there, which is what you want out of a receiver with his price tag.

Deflating Big Blue's hopes

QB Eli Manning (FanDuel Price: $7,600)

With a true running back by committee (and not a great one, at that), the ball will stay in Manning's hands to make plays. He's attempted at least 40 throws in each of the last four games, and the Giants have a 1-3 record in that span.

If the Jets want to take this game, they'll have to contain Manning, which is a rather attainable goal. Since Gang Green has one of the NFL's best defenses against the run, it will force the signal-caller to become more predictable, playing right into the Jets' hands.

WR Odell Beckham, Jr. (FanDuel Price: $9,400)

This is the top priority for Darrelle Revis and company this weekend. If they can limit Beckham's production and force Manning to use other receivers, like Rueben Randle, they'll be in pretty good shape once the clock hits zero.

That'll be a tall order, though. Over his last four games, Beckham has caught 22-of-47 targets for 481 yards and five touchdowns.
