FanDuel: Week 5 Fantasy Notes

Fantasy Football News and Notes Heading Into Week 5

The Jets-Steelers matchup should bring a lot of scoring opportunities for both teams.  The Steelers offense looks to be high flying once again, with Le'Veon Bell back on the field and the Jets should recover from a tough matchup at home vs. Seattle last week.

If your season-long teams are down in the dumps, it's a perfect time to create some lineups on FanDuel.

Ryan Fitzpatrick - $6,900
While Fitzpatrick has thrown 9 interceptions in the past two games, he still makes for a sneaky start on FanDuel this week.  The Steelers secondary is susceptible to big days, as Ross Cockrell and Artie Burns are below average corners and this game has the makings of a shootout.  At $6,900, Fitz is a high upside play this week and a smart play to stack with the next guy on our list...Brandon Marshall.

Brandon Marshall - $7,600
Brandon Marshall is coming off of a solid game vs. Richard Sherman - tallying 4 catches for 89 yards and a TD on 12 targets. While his efficiency hasn't been there in the early going, he will continue to be peppered with targets in this one.  Marshall also enters this game tied for the most RZ targets amongst receivers - which means his propensity to hit paydirt this week is high. Don't forget about Marshall this week.

Bilal Powell - $5,100
With all of the talk surrounding Matt Forte potentially being hobbled this week, Bilal Powell is a great floor play on FanDuel.  Of the 72 snaps in Week 4, Bilal had 52% of them and had 80 yards on 6 catches.  With the snap count trending in his favor and Forté's workload being decreased, Bilal should see a ton of action in this one.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins - $4,600
Chan Gailey's new, shiny toy has yet to see the field — but ASJ has always possessed massive talent and upside given the right opportunity.  Austin is mainly listed here as someone to keep on your radar.  While Jace Amaro never truly fit into the Jets offense, look for ASJ to break out in a few weeks.  Keep him on both your FanDuel and season-long radar. Who are you drafting on your Daily Fantasy team this week?
