The Jets announced they have signed T Jesse Davis and WR Myles White to the practice squad and have removed C Kyle Friend and LB Reshard Cliett from the practice squad.
Davis, an Idaho product, originally signed a future/reserve contract with the Jets in January before being released Aug. 28. The 6'6", 309-pounder spent a portion of last season with the Seahawks and originally played collegiate ball as a defensive tackle. He started 12 games in 2013 before switching to right tackle the following year.
White (6'0", 190), returns to the Green & White after being released from the practice squad on Oct. 26. The Louisiana Tech product signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2013 and spent last year with the Giants. White had seven receptions for 88 yards and a TD in 2015 after recording nine catches for 66 yards in Green Bay.
Friend, an undrafted free agent from Temple, spent training camp with the Jets and was signed to the P-squad Oct. 26.
Cliett, a sixth-round pick by Houston in 2015, spent his rookie season on IR before being released and eventually joined the Broncos' practice squad Sep. 13. He signed with the Jets Oct. 26.
