The Jets have agreed to terms with G Alex Lewis.
Lewis appeared in 15 games in 2019, making 13 starts after the Green & White obtained the 27-year-old from Baltimore in August in exchange for a seventh-round pick.
GM Joe Douglas has reiterated that the offensive line will be a priority for the organization this spring. Lewis played on 764 offensive plays last season, which was every offensive play from Games 4-15. He finished third on the offensive line in number of snaps, trailing only Brandon Shell (806) and Kelvin Beachum (805). Lewis' 52 special teams snaps brought his total to 816, which was fifth-most on offense.
A fourth-round pick (No. 130 overall) of the Ravens, the 6'6", 305-pound Lewis made 18 starts in 20 games for Baltimore from 2016-'18
