Jets Expand Draft Week Fan Activities

The New York Jets will expand their Draft Week to feature three events surrounding the 2013 NFL Draft. Along with official team partners New York Daily News, EMC/SAP, Houlihan's Restaurant and Bar, Pepsi, Toyota and Verizon, the Jets will offer all fans unprecedented access to the players and team facilities as part of this year's draft.

The Jets will host a draft party exclusively for season ticket holders, which will be held at MetLife Stadium on Thursday, April 25. In addition to watching the first round of the draft live on the four in-stadium videoboards, attendees will enjoy collecting autographs from Jets players — those scheduled to appear include Muhammad Wilkerson, Quinton Coples, Kyle Wilson, Stephen Hill and Kenrick Ellis. The players in attendance will be featured on Jets Talk LIVE *hosted by Team Insider Eric Allen along with special guest Bob Wischusen, live only on newyorkjets.com* from 6:30-8 p.m.

For the first time ever, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to tour the Jets' home locker room. The night will also feature on-field activities and appearances by the Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders. One lucky season ticket holder in attendance will be randomly selected to have the special honor of announcing the team's fourth-round draft pick live at Radio City Music Hall on Saturday, April 27.

Admission to the party at MetLife Stadium is free for season ticket holders but tickets, which can be downloaded at My Jets Account, are required for entrance.

In addition to the Season Ticket Holder Party, the team is partnering with local Houlihan's establishments throughout the New Jersey/New York area to encourage Jets fans to meet up with other fans to experience Round 1 of the draft on Thursday night. The Hasbrouck Heights, N.J., location (5 Route 17 South) and the Farmingdale location on Long Island (923 Broad Hollow Road) will serve as the featured restaurants and will have appearances by Jets alumni and Flight Crew Cheerleaders beginning at 6 p.m. Also, the restaurants will show Jets Talk LIVE at 6:30 p.m. Additional locations can be found on newyorkjets.com.

On Saturday, April 27, from noon-4 p.m., the team will welcome all fans to the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, N.J. for Jets Draft Family Fun Day. Jets fans and families can watch the remainder of the 2013 NFL Draft and meet Flight Crew Cheerleaders, have the opportunity to get player autographs — scheduled to appear are Wilkerson, Ellis and Wilson — and have the chance to tour the players' locker room. Kids can also enjoy Jets Fest, an interactive team playground. Admission and parking is open to the public and is free, but signup is required at newyorkjets.com.

Jets fans will receive a free 2013 Jets Draft T-Shirt, while supplies last, at all of the events above.

Visit newyorkjets.com for comprehensive New York Jets coverage before, during and after the 2013 NFL Draft. The first round begins at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 25. Rounds 2-3 will be held on April 26 and Rounds 4-7 will be held on April 27.

*All attendees of the Season Ticket Holder Party and the Family Fun Day will be subject to gameday security procedures, including screening and bag searches, upon entry.
