For the first time since Week 7,the Jets expect to have their entire starting offensive line on the field together against the Cardinals Sunday in Arizona.

HC Jeff Ulbrich told reporters Friday, that RG Alijah Vera-Tucker, LG John Simpson and RT Morgan Moses were 'trending in the right direction' with regards to playing Sunday. Vera-Tucker missed the last two games with an ankle injury while Simpson missed the second half of last Thursday's contest with a groin ailment. Moses continues to deal with a knee injury that forced him to miss Weeks 4-5.

"It is huge to have all five starting offensive linemen," Ulbrich said. "Plus, Aaron [Rodgers] is feeling the best he has felt in a long time from a mobility standpoint. So excited about both those things. I think we are in a good place."

In addition, LB C.J. Mosley (neck) and G Jake Hanson (hamstring) were ruled out. LB Chazz Surratt (heel) and DL Solomon Thomas (knee) will be questionable, while nickel Michael Carter II (back) is 'hopeful' to play.

Looking for a Live Leg
K Spencer Shrader, who began the season with the Colts as an undrafted free agent, is likely to be a roster elevation for Sunday's game against Arizona. Schrader, while in Indianapolis, was elevated in Week 1 against the Texans and made all 3 extra point attempts.

In college, Shrader kicked for South Florida for four seasons and made 70% of his field goal attempts before transferring to Notre Dame in 2024. With the Fighting Irish, he connected on 15 of 22 attempts, including a career-long 54-yarder, and was 61 of 62 extra points.

The Jets also released K Riley Patterson and signed former Packers and Niners kicker Anders Carlson to the practice squad.

"We are just looking for a live leg," Ulbrich said of the transactions. "So, we brought a guy in that's got a live leg, that's kicked in the NFL, and we think Spencer Shrader has a live leg, so that's ultimately what it came down to was the strength of the leg, and Shrader kicked very well today so I think he'll get the nod on Sunday."

Reddick's Return to Arizona
Haason Reddick is going back to where his NFL career started this weekend. Reddick, a first-round pick of the Cardinals in 2017, has played in two games with the Jets after ending his holdout. He is coming off an 8-pressure effort against the Texans. Reddick also was credited with a .5 sack as the Jets racked up a season-high 8 QB takedowns.

"I felt like a lot of people thought I would come back and need three or four games to adjust and get back to game speed," Reddick said. "But to be able to play two games in 10 days, it was really a testament to the work I put in offseason."

Since his departure from the Cardinals, Reddick has been back to play in Glendale twice, in 2021 as a member of the Panthers (1.5 sacks, 4 tackles) and '22 with the Eagles (1.0 sack, 1 TFL). Reddick will spend Sunday afternoon pursuing his dynamic former teammate, QB Kyler Murray.

"[Murray] is not a statue in that pocket," Reddick said. "If he senses any type of pressure, he is going to run. He is fast and he has quickness. He is small and a bit shorter, so it makes it that much harder to get him down. But I always look forward to a challenge, going down to AZ and getting to see those guys."
