The now yearly tradition is about to be renewed. It's time to "SPiN" into action at this year's Jets House.
The fifth annual Jets House, the can't-miss experience for fans of the Green & White in New York City during the buildup to the Super Bowl, will be held in four sessions this weekend. And the event, which began before Super Bowl XLVII at MetLife Stadium, returns with a ping-pong theme to SPiN New York at 48 East 23rd Street, the flagship location for the international chain of franchised table tennis clubs.
How can fans have fun at this year's Jets House? Let us count the ways. Each session will feature:
■ Appearances, meet & greets and autographs from current Jets players, Jets Legends and members of the New York Jets Flight Crew.
■ All-inclusive food and beverage.
■ Live music and entertainment. Gameday DJ Jon Blak will be doing his own brand of "spinning."
■ Limited quantities of free giveaways — Green Giant and Jets co-branded tote bags, JetBlue koozies and Coronaritas served in souvenir glasses.
■ All the ping-pong you can handle, including table tennis pros who will host exhibition games, demos and lessons, along with Sunday's ping-pong tournament (registration required) for big prizes.
