With the 2024 regular season now complete, here's a look at which Jets players received the highest grades from Pro Football Focus.
WR Garrett Wilson – 78.9
For a third straight season, Jets WR Garrett Wilson surpassed 1,000 receiving yards and became one of 10 players to start their NFL careers with at least 1,000 yards in each of his first three seasons. His 78.9 grade is 6 points higher than his grade last season. It took the 2022 first-round pick 47 games to eclipse 3,000 career receiving yards and he became the second-fastest Jets player to reach that milestone (Al Toon, 46). The Ohio State product became one of five players in NFL history to have at least 80 receptions and 1,000 yards in each of his first three seasons.
QB Aaron Rodgers – 77.8
Aaron Rodgers' 77.8 grade tied Texans QB C.J. Stroud for No. 15 in the NFL this season. Despite the Jets' record, Rodgers delivered one of the most prolific seasons by a signal-caller in green and white. His 3,879 passing yards and 28 touchdowns each rank No. 3 in franchise history. In 17 games, the future Hall of Famer surpassed Dan Marino and Matt Ryan on the career passing list and now sits at No. 7 with 62,952. Rodgers also became the fifth quarterback to throw for at least 500 touchdown passes.
RG Alijah Vera-Tucker – 77.7
After playing multiple positions across the line and sustaining season-ending injuries in each of the last two seasons, Jets OL Alijah Vera-Tucker started 15 games at right guard and finished with a career-best 77.7 PFF grade, which ranks No. 10 among all guards in the NFL this season. His 98.3 pass-blocking efficiency grade ranks No. 5. His 16 pressures allowed are the third fewest at his position and his 8 hurries are second.
WR Davante Adams – 77.6
WR Davante Adams joined the Jets prior to their Week 7 matchup against the Steelers and his 854 receiving yards from Weeks 7-18 rank No. 10 in the NFL in that span. His 67 receptions rank No. 12 and he caught 7 touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers this season, taking their total to 83. That's the third-most TD receptions between a WR and QB in NFL history.
LG John Simpson – 77.3
John Simpson, who came over from the Ravens in free agency, continued to take off with the Jets after blossoming into a starter in Baltimore in the 2023 season. Simpson's 77.3 grade ranks No. 11 among guards and is a career high, 21 points more than his prior personal best. His 11 hurries allowed tied for the seventh fewest among guards and his 20 pressures tied for No. 11.
