The Jets have re-signed QB David Fales.

The Green & White signed Fales Sept. 18 after Trevor Siemian landed on injured reserve with an ankle injury, and the sixth-year veteran appeared in two games.

The 29-year-old played under head coach Adam Gase both in 2015 with the Bears and 2017-18 with the Dolphins. The 6'2", 213-pounder also had a stint with the Lions in the summer of 2019 before he was waived and joined the Jets. Originally a Bears sixth-round pick in 2014, the San Jose State product has played in five regular-season games, completing 64.6% of his passes for 287 yards, one touchdown and one interception for a 79.1 rating. Fales also has one career rushing touchdown.
