The Jets have signed three offensive players to reserve/future contracts: fullback Julian Howsare and wide receivers Myles White and Deshon Foxx.
Howsare (6'3", 255) will be spending his third offseason with the Green & White. He signed with the Jets as a free agent linebacker out of Clarion in Pennsylvania after the 2015 draft. He played 85 snaps in the preseason, was a final cut, then came back for two six-game stints on the practice squad.
This past season Howsare got in for 74 preseason plays, then began the season on the active roster and got in 33 plays, 30 of them on special teams, in the first two games. He was injured and released from IR in October, then spent three weeks on Seattle's practice squad.
White (6'0", 195), a Louisiana Tech product, has spent time with the Packers, Giants, Jets and Buccaneers since 2013. This past season the Jets signed him to the practice squad Sept. 4 and he spent six weeks there before being released in November.
Foxx (5'10", 177) signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Connecticut in May 2015 and was by the 'Hawks in August 2015, returned last year to Seattle and was waived with an injury settlement this past September.
