The Jets have signed linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis.
The fifth-year veteran played in 14 games for the Chiefs in 2017, recording 41 tackles and two pass defenses. Originally a fourth-round pick by the Seahawks, the Boston College product spent three years in Seattle and tallied 43 tackles in 34 games.
Pierre-Louis played four collegiate seasons in Chestnut Hill for the Eagles and totaled 214 tackles, 23 of which were for loss, eight sacks, one interception, 10 pass defenses and recovered a fumble for a 96-yard touchdown. He earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2013.
The 6'0", 230-pounder is from Norwalk, CT, but has strong ties to his Haitian descent. His aunts, uncles and over 30 relatives still live in Haiti and own a sugar-cane plantation, two ice factories and apartment buildings that they rent out to families.
