The Jets took home some hardware at the 2018 New York Emmy Awards Saturday night, capturing a pair of Emmys for Sports: Feature Segment and Editor: Sports. The group award went for a My JetLife feature on wide receiver Robby Anderson while Tyler Pino was highlighted for his editing efforts.
"These are exceptional honors for our Jets 360 team, which continues to feature in-depth storytelling daily that brings our fans closer to our players, coaches and staff," Jets President Neil Glat said. "Tyler is one of our outstanding group of editors and producers who have helped our group take tangible strides over the past couple of years."
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences of New York nominated Jets 360, the team's internal content group, for 13 Emmys, the most nominations the organization has ever received. Jets 360 was nominated in eight different programming categories — feature/segment in education/schools, human interest feature/segment, sports feature/segment, sports program series, sports documentary, sports one-time special, sports program promotion and audio post production.
