Which Jets Received the Highest PFF Grades Through 12 Weeks?

LG John Simpson & WR Garrett Wilson Led the Way for the Offense

The Jets (3-8) arrived at the bye last week and got much needed rest before they take on the Seahawks in Week 13 at MetLife Stadium. Here is a look at which players (min. 200 snaps) received the highest grades from Pro Football Focus through the first 11 games. A full list of the team's grades can be found here.

LG John Simpson – 80.7
Simpson has been a driving force for the Jets O-line this season, helping hold down the left side of the unit. Simpson is the only player on the team with a cumulative grade of 80-plus and is the No. 9-highest rated guard in the league. He is third on offense in snaps played (630) and has received a single-game grade of 80-plus 3 times this year, including a career-high 95.8 versus Buffalo in Week 6.

WR Garrett Wilson – 79.8
In Wilson's first full season with QB Aaron Rodgers, he has made the most of it ranking fifth in the NFL in receptions (69) and 12th in yards (722). Wilson's offense grade is No. 14 among wideouts this season (min. 50 targets) and the second best of his career, trailing his rookie campaign (82.7). In 11 games, Wilson has scored 75-plus four times and 80-plus twice. He received a 91.1 versus the Texans in Week 9. In that game, he had 9 receptions for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns, including two spectacular a one-handed scoring grabs.

CB D.J. Reed – 76.6
Reed has the highest grade on the Jets defense and the 18th-best among cornerbacks. Reed leads the team with 8 pass defenses, to go with 37 tackles, 1 sack and 2 tackles for loss. What has stood about Reed, has been his consistency. In 9 games this season, he has not allowed more than 3 receptions in a game and has surrendered greater than 60 yards receiving in a single game twice. Reed has received a grade of 85-plus in a game twice this season, including a grade of 90.2 versus Denver in Week 4.

DL Quinnen Williams – 75.3
Williams has received the highest grade on team each of the past two seasons and ranks among the best on the team again through the first 12 weeks of 2024. In 11 games, Williams ranks 15th among defensive linemen and has earned single-game grade of 80-plus 4 times. Williams' 6 sacks and 7 tackles for loss are both the second most on the team and his 16 QB hits leads the group. Williams' best grade of the season came against the Patriots in Week 2. He scored an 89.5 and registered 3 QB hurries, 1 sack and 5 tackles.
