The Jets have traded DT Steve McLendon and a 2023 seventh-round pick to the Buccaneers in exchange for a 2022 sixth-round pick.
McLendon (6-3, 310) signed with the Green & White as a free agent in 2016 and totaled 154 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks and 17 QB hits in 64 games (58 starts). He first signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Troy in 2010 and played six seasons in Pittsburgh. He has 244 career tackles, 41 TFLs, 12.5 sacks and 28 QBH.
