The Jets (4-10) beat the Jaguars (3-11), 32-25, in Florida on Sunday. Here are three takeaways from the game.
Offensive Line Protects No. 8
The Jets allowed 1 sack Sunday against the Jaguars and provided QB Aaron Rodgers his longest time to throw this season at 3.18 seconds, according to Next Gen Stats. Rodgers was pressured on 16.7% of his dropbacks (6 pressures), which was his second-lowest pressure rate this season.
He completed 8 of his 18 attempts when he took more than 2.5 seconds to throw for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns, the most passing yards on such passes in a game by Rodgers this season. He also scrambled 5 times for 45 yards, which were both his most in a game since 2020.
"I think it was pretty good," LG John Simpson said of the O-line's performance. "There's obviously a few hiccups here and there. At the end of the day, it's football and every day we're trying to get better to be as good as we can be to get dubs like this."
Rodgers added: "I want to say one more time, the offensive line had an outstanding game. I had all day to throw. Big shout out to the big boys. I'm going to love them up on the bus."
Stiggers Makes First Start
The Jets battled injuries throughout the secondary entering Sunday's game and midgame against the Jaguars. Without D.J. Reed (groin), rookie CB Qwan'tez Stiggers made his first NFL start Sunday.
"I felt like I played good," said Stiggers, who had 4 tackles and 1 on special teams. "I felt like I tackled really well, I felt like I was really sticky in coverage. Later in the game, I know I had an under route that I have to have more football intelligence to figure out what's going on and meet the receiver over the top to make that tackle."
Stiggers, who was drafted out of the CFL's Toronto Argonauts as opposed to college, started but Kendall Sheffield, signed to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday, took more defensive snaps with 50. Stiggers played 31 snaps on defense and 10 on special teams.
"It's not hard [to balance] at all," he said. "Wherever they need me, I'm going to ball. Go out there on defense and make a tackle. If they need me to run out on special teams, I can do that. Need me to block on kickoff return? I can do that, too. Whatever they need, I'm going to be there."

First Half Time of Possession
The Jets emerged victorious Sunday for the first time since Week 9 but struggled to get the offense going in the first half.
Aaron Rodgers led the unit down the field for the team's first score on an opening drive in 15 games but, otherwise, did not put points on the board in the first half. A large part of that was the lopsided time of possession as Jacksonville held the ball for 21:08 through the first two quarters, the most by a Jets opponent in a first half since the Raiders in 2013. Three of the Jaguars' four first-half possessions were at least 11-play drives, but two of the three scoring series resulted in field goals as the Green & White's defense held its ground in the red zone.
"We don't even want to be in the red zone," said CB Sauce Gardner, who had the game-sealing interception. "We have to keep fighting, we have to be strong. When it comes to the red zone, that's definitely crunch time. That's one of those be-your-best-when-your-best-is-required moments. Not just 2-minute or end-of-game situations."
The Jets, in the second half, had possession for 16:44 compared to 8:52 through the first two frames.
