The Jets have interviewed Jim Nagy for their general manager position.

Nagy has been the executive director of Reese's Senior Bowl since 2018 and is responsible for its football and business operations. The postseason college football all-star game annually showcases some of the top NFL draft prospects who've completed their college eligibility.

An NFL scout for 18 years, Nagy was the southeast scout for the Seattle Seahawks from 2013 to 2018. He got his NFL start as an intern with the Packers in 1996 and held scouting positions with the Commanders (2001-02), Patriots (2002-09) and Chiefs (2009-13). He was part of teams that appeared in six Super Bowls and won four championships (Green Bay Packers XXXI, New England Patriots XXXVIII and XXXIX, and Seattle Seahawks XLVII).

Nagy is the third candidate to interview for the Jets' GM post. The team announced earlier this week that it had completed interviews with former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and former Titans GM Jon Robinson.

Jets Chairman Woody Johnson is leading the searches for a general manager and head coach. He hired The 33rd Team in a support role to help identify and vet candidates in addition to coordinate interviews. Phil Savage and Jeff Ulbrich are serving as the team's interim general manager and head coach, respectively.
