Jets CB Marcus Williams has signed his restricted free agent tender.
The 5'11", 196-pounder Williams recorded a team-high eight interceptions over the past two seasons. In his three years as a member of the Jets, the North Dakota State product has tallied 96 tackles, 23 PDs and nine interceptions in 34 games (14 starts).
Williams signed as an undrafted free agent with the Texans in 2014, but was released during the preseason. He then joined the Green & White's practice squad and was eventually promoted to the active roster where he started the final eight games.
