The New York Jets have signed undrafted free agent defensive tackle Matt Hardison. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum. Hardison (6'4", 285) participated in the Jets' rookie minicamp as a tryout player on May 4-6. In two seasons at Delaware, he played in 24 games and recorded 29 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss. Hardison spent his first three collegiate seasons at Rutgers but did not see game action.
