Morristown Medical Center, part of the Atlantic Health System that sponsors the New York Jets, has just received a national ranking from U.S. News and World Report.
The medical center, located in Morristown, N.J., within minutes of the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center, received its national ranking for 2012-13 in cardiology & heart surgery as well as in the category of gynecology.
The center also received regional recognition for 2012-13 from the news magazine in the categories of cancer, diabetes & endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, nephrology, neurology & neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonary, and urology.
U.S. News and World Report reports its national rankings in this week's edition, on the newsstands today.
Atlantic Health has been a sponsor of the Jets since the team moved into its Florham Park facility, and will again be a sponsor of training camp when the Jets move their operations to SUNY Cortland in Central New York beginning Thursday, July 26. The first open practice of training camp will be held Saturday, July 28.
