Jets LB Quincy Williams No. 32 on NFL's Top 100 List

All-Pro ‘Backer Had Career-High 139 Tackles Last Season

Jets ' All-Pro LB Quincy Williams, the Curtis Martin Team MVP last season, cracked the NFL's Top-100 list for the first time in his career and checked in at No. 32.

He's the sixth Jets player to crack the top 100 this year, a list voted on by players around the league, and received the top ranking among his teammates, which includes QB Aaron Rodgers (No. 92), edge Haason Reddick (No. 87), WR Garrett Wilson (No. 72), CB Sauce Gardner (No. 38) and DT Quinnen Williams (No. 37), his younger brother.

Quincy Williams, a third-round pick by the Jaguars in 2019 who was claimed off waivers by the Jets in 2021, had a career-high 139 tackles and 15 tackles for loss last season. His 81.1 Pro Football Focus grade was the fifth-best among linebackers who played at least 900 snaps.

"I'm so proud of him," HC Robert Saleh said at the end of last season. "You talk about the players that get thrown away and they try to find their way. He stuck to it, kept his head down, kept working and he's found his way and we're very fortunate that we have him."

Williams was named a first team All-Pro following his career season that came off the heels of signing inking a three-year deal with the Jets last offseason. He's started 44 of the 48 games he's played in for the Green & White and his 352 tackles in that span are tied for the 15th-most in the NFL.

"When I signed my extension, I had to figure out how I could make the most of this moment," he said. "So, I took everything I heard from all of the other coaches, players and teams and I wrote it down. And then I wrote down all the linebackers that people thought were better than me and decided I want to be the No. 1 linebacker this season. Every day I had a plan to maximize my opportunity."

Entering the 2024 season, Williams intends to "leave no doubt" for anyone who continues to doubt him.

"I need that All-Pro and Pro Bowl this year," he said. "The most important thing is not forgetting, but building off what I did last year and not having the mindset of, 'this is All-Pro Quincy Williams.' I'm still Quincy Williams and now I have to prove that I'm All-Pro again."
