Chad's Take**
- Eric Decker placed on injured reserve…
CP: It's a slight blow to the armor of the Jets offensively, no doubt about it…As a team you can either look at it as a challenge or as an opportunity. If you're a guy who hasn't had many opportunities to now show what you can do and how you can contribute to help the team win. It's tough for Eric, tough for the team, but it's also time for somebody else to step up and help out.
- There's a lot of moving parts for Ryan Fitzpatrick and the offense right now...
CP: It makes it extremely tough for continuity in the offense. Extremely tough for a quarterback to establish rythm. When you're dealing with a lot of changes, the biggest challenge as a QB,* is to still remain an equal opportunity QB. When you start to lose some of your key guys sometimes you tend to focus on the guy that you're very familiar with, and then you start to force the ball into coverage. The challenge is that most of the plays are designed to go to the no. 1 and no. 2 guys, but when they are covered, the QB then has to trust the third and fourth recievers to be able to at least make some simple plays.*
Bart's Take
- Monday Night Football is a special game for the players…
BS: This is kind of a special day because you can make your name and your fame on Monday Night Football. This is who I am. This is how I play. I'm coming. Watch me. I'm worth the price of admission.
- The game your peers watch…
BS: It's primetime. Whenever you get the opportunity to be the only show in town, you look forward to it. It's an opportunity for you to introduce yourself to the world – to the masses.
