Transcripts of interviews with selected Jets players during locker room media availability before Thursday's midday practice:
CB DARRELLE REVIS
On if the defense is frustrated with its play…
No, it is tough but we have to stay positive. This is not a 4-12 team like we were last year. We're 8-5. We're tied for first. We have to keep on moving and get wins. We're focused right now and this is a key game for us. It's a rival game. The Buffalo games are always tight games at the end. We know what to expect from them. We have to look at ourselves and go out there and execute as best we can.
On if he would like to see more continuity in the secondary…
We trust the guys that are back there. I know the coaches are going to play the best players out there and that is the world we live in as defensive backs. One week I'm on Randy Moss and another I'm on Lee Evans. You know your job is going to switch week in and week out. You have to be ready for the challenges.
TE DUSTIN KELLER
On if it feels like the NFL season is long…
No, I feel like as long as you're having fun, it really doesn't matter. You go all year long. My body feels good and I am in a really good position.
On his meeting with Coach Mangini…
He talked to me, but I took it all as positive reinforcement, stuff that needs to be worked on, and I am going to go ahead and put work in and try to make the right corrections.
On if it seemed like Mangini was more animated on Monday than usual…
For good reason. We need to get this thing turned back around and we will. It's going to take a little bit of work and that is what we're focusing in on right now.
On how he responded to Mangini's talk…
I like it if he is talking to me. It means he has confidence in you, that he is confident in your ability, that you can and should get better. And that is good knowledge.
