- Affectionately known as 'Sasquatch,' Zach Sudfeld has stood out in his first training camp with the Jets. The 6-7 pass-catcher has also done well in pass protection in Cortland, says Rex.
- Entering his third season, linebacker Demario Davis has put in the hard work and it's starting to pay off. He's taken on a leadership role as well, demanding equal effort from his teammates.
- The depth at safety is something that Rex can't help but be excited about – from Dawan Landry and Antonio Allen to Josh Bush, Jaiquawn Jarrett and Rontez Miles. And that doesn't even include first-round pick Calvin Pryor, who's missed time to injury this week.
- Third-year wideout Stephen Hill has excelled thus far in camp, including an impressive Day 8 on Friday in which he twice found the end zone. Hill is just one in a deep group of wide receivers that's pushing each other for playing time.
- The low-scoring Green & White affair went mostly in favor of the defense, but Rex believed the game was more competitive than it may have seemed.
