After extending its comprehensive television and marketing partnership with the New York Jets, SNY — the official television home of the New York Mets, New York Jets and Big East Conference — has announced the network's exclusive, in-depth coverage of the 2009 season that will present unprecedented access.
Jets Game Plan will kick off SNY's NFL (Jets) Week 1 coverage. Hosted by Steve Overmyer and analyst Greg Buttle, Jets Game Plan is a 30-minute preview show where analysts, coaches and players give an in-depth look ahead at the week's upcoming matchup. The show, which features head coach Rex Ryan and quarterback Mark Sanchez, will premiere every Thursday and will re-air later that night.
Returning for its fourth consecutive year is the critically acclaimed Jets Post Game Live — which now features exclusive on-field interviews with key Jets players immediately following each game. Jets Post Game Live will have priority access to the locker room, including head coach Rex Ryan's closed-door address to the team. The show will feature former Jets QB Ray Lucas, NFL Insider Adam Schein, Jets reporter Steve Overmyer and host Brian Custer.
Jets Extra Point, a weekly show that dissects the previous week's game, will also return this season and debut a new episode every Tuesday. Host Brian Custer will be joined former Jets QB Ray Lucas and former Jets LB Greg Buttle.
For daily coverage of the Jets, fans can tune into SNY's news and entertainment program block from 5–6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as Geico SportsNite every evening at 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. for complete team coverage.
