The New York Jets have signed cornerbacks Donnie Fletcher and CB Darrin Walls and wide receiver Jordan White from the practice squad to the active roster. The announcements were made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
White (6'0", 215) was a seventh-round selection of the Jets in the 2012 NFL Draft. He was signed to the team's practice squad Sept. 2 after being waived following training camp. White was waived from the practice squad on Sept. 28 before re-signing with the Jets on Oct. 2. In four years at Western Michigan, he played in 43 games (32 starts) and produced 306 receptions for 4,187 yards and 32 touchdowns. White will wear uniform number 17.
Fletcher (6'1", 195) signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 4. He joined the Jets practice squad on Sept. 1 after being waived following training camp. The Jets signed Fletcher to the active roster from the practice squad on Sept. 22 for their game at Miami on Sept. 23. He was waived the next day, then re-signed to the Jets practice squad the day after that. Fletcher will wear number 34 Walls (6'0", 190) entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Atlanta on July 27, 2011, and recorded one interception and two passes defensed in five games as a rookie. He was waived by the Falcons during the preseason on Aug. 27 and was signed to the Jets practice squad on Sept. 28. Walls will wear number 27.
