A Look at the Career of New Jets RB and Former Patriot Stevan Ridley

A product of LSU, Ridley was drafted by the Patriots in the third round (73rd overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft.

As a rookie in 2011, Ridley played in every game and totaled 441 yards on 87 carries (5.1 yards per attempt) with one touchdown.

Ridley's breakout season came in Year 2, as he led New England with 1,263 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.

In his third season in 2013, Ridley missed the first two games of his career, but totaled 773 yards and seven scores in addition to career highs of 10 catches and 62 yards.

Last season, Ridley totaled 340 yards and a pair of scores on the ground before tearing his ACL and MCL in Week 6. He missed the remainder of the year.

For his career, Ridley has totaled 2,817 rushing yards and 22 scores in 52 games (25 starts).

Ridley played in five playoff games (one start) with the Patriots and has totaled 242 rushing yards and three scores in postseason play.

Ridley has totaled seven career 100-yard rushing games -- including four during his standout 2012 season. His career-best mark came in Week 5 of that year when he totaled 151 yards on 28 carries vs. Denver.
