Offense In Action: New York Jets Running Backs

In his first season with the Jets, RB Chris Ivory led the team in carries (182), rushing yards (833) and longest run (69).

Perhaps the most impressive highlight from the 6'0", 222-pound bruising back this season came against Oakland when he broke five tackles en route to a 15-yard rushing touchdown.

If Ivory was No. 1 for the Green & White ground game, RB Bilal Powell was No. 1-A with 697 rushing yards on 176 carries.

Powell also showed shiftiness out of the backfield, tied for second on the squad in receptions (36).

The Jets claimed RB Alex Green off of waivers from the Green Bay Packers on 9/1/13 and used him primarily on special teams throughout the season.

Green recorded five special teams tackles on top of carrying the ball 11 times for 35 yards rushing.

RB Mike Goodson's season was short-lived, but explosive nonetheless.

Goodson played just two games before suffering a season-ending knee injury but averaged 8.7 yards per rush on seven carries and 9.5 yards per catch on two receptions in limited action.
