Biography
David Zuffelato returns for his 17th season with the New York Jets and his second as the head athletic trainer in the team's athletic care and performance department. In his role, Zuffelato oversees all aspects of medical care for the players.
Zuffelato is also a member of the Jets Infectious Disease Emergency Response (IDER) team that oversaw the installation and application of the organization's COVID protocols.
Prior to joining the Jets, Zuffelato served as the head athletic trainer at Florida Atlantic University and spent three seasons (2003-05) working in NFL Europe.
Graduating from Central Connecticut State, Zuffelato received his bachelor's in athletic training and his master's in athletic training and kinesiology from Temple.
Zuffelato and his wife, Beth, have two children, son, Jake, and daughter, Leah.
