Jordan Burton

National Football Scouting (NFS) Scout

Biography

JORDAN BURTON is now in his first season as the NFS college scout with the New York Jets and third with the organization, after serving as an intern and personnel assistant in the pro personnel department for two years.

In his new role, Burton will be responsible for scouting the Northeast Region of the country – specifically providing teams a part of NFS with firsthand information through both the spring and fall.

Burton previously worked for his alma mater Oklahoma State University as a Recruiting Prospect Analyst. During his time in Stillwater, Burton specifically oversaw the day-to-day recruitment of Linebackers as well as assisted in the day-to-day recruiting prep of Defensive Coordinator Jim Knowles.

Prior to his time with the Cowboys, Burton spent time in the CFL with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the BC Lions. Burton also spent time in camp with the Chicago Bears following the 2017 draft.

Burton earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 2016. The Longview, TX native currently resides in Florham Park, NJ with his beloved shoe collection.
