S Tony Adams (5-11, 203) RFA
Adams started 11 games last season and totaled a career-high 84 tackles. The 2022 undrafted free agent has started 27 of the 40 games he's played in and totaled 183 tackles, 11 pass defenses and 4 interceptions.

S Chuck Clark (6-0, 209)
Returning from a torn ACL, Clark started 12 games for the Jets and totaled 69 tackles. The seven-year pro, who will turn 30 on April 19, has recorded 6 FF, 5 FR and 5 INTs plus 453 tackles in 108 career games.

S Ashtyn Davis (6-1, 202)
A core special teams performer for the Jets since being selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the reserve defensive back has a knack for finding the ball with 8 INTs, 4 FR and 3 FF in addition to 15 PDs.

LB Jamin Davis (6-4, 234)
The former first-round pick was a waiver claim from Minnesota on Dec. 31, 2024. Davis, a Kentucky product who was drafted by Washington No. 19 overall in 2021, has played in 54 games and registered 287 tackles and 8 sacks in his NFL career.

CB Brandin Echols (5-10, 179)
Mostly a reserve corner and core special teamer over the last three seasons, Echols has been a versatile player having lined up at nickel and outside cornerback. A sixth-round pick in 2021, he has a nose for the ball with 5 interceptions (2 touchdowns).

LB Sam Eguavoen (6-1, 236)
Eguavoen has been a special teams stalwart over the last two seasons and led the team with 350 snaps on special teams this past season. He was the only player with more than 300 snaps.

DT Leki Fotu (6-5, 335)
Fotu's season was hampered by injury with two stints on injured reserve. The fifth-year veteran played in 2 games for the Green & White and has totaled 92 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in 58 career games (22 starts).

DT Javon Kinlaw (6-5, 319)
For the first time in his five NFL seasons, Kinlaw started all 17 games and totaled career highs in sacks (4.5), tackles (40), tackles for loss (5) and forced fumbles (2). The former first-round pick tied for the third-most sacks on the team this past season.

S Jalen Mills (6-0, 191)
The veteran safety quickly made his way from the practice squad to the active roster to a starter for the Jets'defense. He started in 8 of his 9 games in the 2024 season before he landed on injured reserve with a collarbone injury. Mills has 450 career tackles, 8 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles and 59 pass defenses in 115 games (91 starts).

DB Isaiah Oliver (6-0, 202)
Perhaps the most versatile player in the Jets 'secondary last season, Oliver played outside cornerback, nickel and safety. He started 7 games and totaled 57 tackles, 3 pass defenses, 2 tackles for loss and 2 QB hits.

Edge Haason Reddick (6-1, 240)
After holding out the first 7 games of the season, Reddick, 30, totaled 1 sack, 2 tackles for loss and 3 QB hits over the final 10 games. The two-time Pro Bowler and former first-round pick has 59 career sacks.

CB D.J. Reed (5-9, 188)
A three-year starter for the Jets since he signed in 2022, Reed has been a staple in the team's secondary that has allowed the fewest passing yards per game in the NFL in that span. He's totaled 220 tackles, 32 pass defenses, 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles and 1 sack in 46 games with the team.

CB Kendall Sheffield (5-10, 212)
Sheffield was a reserve in the secondary last season and appeared in 6 games. The sixth-year player has totaled 114 tackles and 6 pass defenses in 49 games (20 starts).

LB Jamien Sherwood (6-2, 216)
The 2024 Curtis Martin Team MVP in his first year as a starter, Sherwood's 154 tackles ranked No. 4 in the NFL. He had at least 10 tackles in 6 games, including a season-high 18 tackles in Week 14 at Miami. The college safety out of Auburn was a core special teamer (he took the most snaps on teams in the 2023 season) before this past season.

LB Chazz Surratt (6-2, 233) RFA
Surratt played more on defense down the home stretch, but he's been a core special teams player the last two seasons. He finished in the top five each of the last two seasons in regard to snaps on teams and his 282 last season were the third most.

DT Solomon Thomas (6-3, 295)
Thomas, in his third season with the Green & White, had 3.5 sacks, 2 pass defenses and 1 forced fumble in 16 games. His 458 snaps on defense were the third-most among defensive tackles on the team. The No. 3 overall pick in 2017 has 212 tackles and 18.5 career sacks in eight seasons.
