The Jets have placed OL Tom Compton on injured reserve and signed OL Ben Braden from the practice squad.
Compton started five games for the Jets at right guard when the Jets placed Brian Winters on IR and has appeared in 14 games. The seventh-year veteran signed with the team in the offseason after spending last season with the Vikings. He's started 34 of the 99 games he's played in eight seasons.
Braden signed to the practice squad Nov. 13 after a stint with the Packers P-squad. Braden, 6'6", 329, signed with the Jets in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan. He appeared in two games for the Jets last year. Braden began 2018 on the active roster. He was then waived and re-signed to the practice squad and promoted to the active roster Nov. 28.
