The Jets, who have fought through difficult injuries recently, got some positive injury news before they take on their third NFC North foe of the season, the Bears, at Chicago's legendary Soldier Field this afternoon.
In the secondary, safety Marcus Maye, who sat out last week's loss to Minnesota with the thumb injury he sustained the week before against Indianapolis, is active for today's game.
And CB Buster Skrine, who missed the past two games, cleared the concussion protocol this week and is also active.
On the offensive line, C Spencer Long (knee/finger) and T Kelvin Beachum (back), both of whom were listed as questionable for the game on Friday, are both active.
The Bears didn't have as many listed injuries as the Jets during the week, but they have two significant inactives today in LB Khalil Mack (ankle) and WR Allen Robinson (groin).
Back to the Jets, available for them at safety and on special teams are Terrence Brooks and recently signed Ibraheim Campbell. CB Morris Claiborne, another questionable on Friday, is active. However, CB Trumaine Johnson (quadriceps) remains sidelined.
And at WR, Robby Anderson (ankle) has been deactivated, joining Quincy Enunwa (ankle), who missed Minnesota.
The wideout group will feature Jermaine Kearse and newly signed seventh-year veteran Rishard Matthews, set to make his Green & White debut in uniform No. 82. Andre Roberts, Charone Peake and Deontay Burnett are also expected to run some patterns.
At RB, Isaiah Crowell is expected to shoulder the load with Bilal Powell (neck) being placed on IR, with rookie Trenton Cannon ready to contribute as is De'Angelo Henderson, signed from the practice squad Saturday (with CB Juston Burris being released) and also active for his Jets debut.
The Jets' seven-man inactive list:
- WR Robby Anderson
- CB Trumaine Johnson
- CB Derrick Jones
- LB Kevin Pierre-Louis
- OL Dakota Dozier
- WR Quincy Enunwa
- DL Folorunso Fatukasi
And the Bears' inactives:

The Jets are wearing white jerseys and green pants for the 24th game under head coach Todd Bowles. They are 7-16 in the first 23 games.
Clete Blakeman will be refereeing his sixth Jets game since 2011. Among the Jets games Blakeman's presided over were the home wins over New Orleans in 2013 and the overtime win over New England in 2015.
