Hey, Jets Fans! Amanda here, with the New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders.
Over the past few months there have been so many relief efforts for the victims of Sandy, and these amazing deeds have given hope to many people that were devastated during this time.
As you may know, many pets were lost during the storm and are now being held in shelters all over the tri-state area. I am an animal lover myself, and I feel for these pets in their time of need. Almost everyone I know has a dog, cat or other type of pet to keep them company, and without knowing it these little furry friends of ours become part of our families.
During the holidays many people give the gift of a little companion to their family members, so at this time, when so many pets have been lost, I encourage you to donate or adopt to help rescue them. Below I have listed a few websites that are looking for help to buy food for the animals in the shelter or for a good home to place them in. I hope you will find it in your hearts to do as much as you can to help.
