The Jets have re-signed LB Jamin Davis.
Davis (6-3, 234), a 2021 first-round pick (No.19) by the Commanders out of Kentucky, was claimed by the Jets off waivers on Dec. 31, 2024. He played nine games last season split between Washington (5) and Minnesota (4), totaling 18 tackles (12 solo) and 1 sack while taking 106 defensive snaps.
Davis, 26, appeared in 50 games (36 starts) with Washington from 2021-24, registering 281 tackles, 21 TFL, 7 sacks, 6 PDs and 2 FF. He played 5 games for the Commanders last season and was released on Oct. 22. He then signed with the Green Bay squad on Oct. 29 and later joined the Vikings on Nov. 26.
An athletic linebacker, Davis recorded a 42-inch vertical and 40-yard times of 4.41 and 4.37 seconds at his pro day.
