The Jets have placed OL Wes Schweitzer on injured reserve.
Schweitzer (6-4, 300) sustained a hand injury in practice this week.
He signed with the Green & White in 2023 and played in six games last season (two starts), taking 149 snaps on offense and 18 on special teams as he battled injuries and ended his season on injured reserve.
Schweitzer, who was drafted by the Falcons in the sixth round in 2016 out of San Jose State, played three seasons with Atlanta before he signed with Washington in 2020. He's started 62 of the 86 games he's played in over his seven NFL seasons and has taken snaps at every position along the offensive line, but most of his snaps have come at guard.
