The New York Jets have waived linebacker Mark Zalewski. The announcement was made by Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Zalewski (6'2", 234) was originally signed by the Jets as an undrafted rookie free agent May 12 before being waived May 15. He was then re-signed July 27.
Zalewski was a three-year starter at the University of Wisconsin, finishing with career totals of 236 tackles and eight sacks.
