Throughout the season, NewYorkJets.com will provide a Stock Report focusing on the Jets' upcoming matchup.

This week's report features players and/or themes that are trending before the Green & White take on the Jaguars in Florida on Sunday afternoon.

📈 Jets Passing Offense
The Jets had to two receivers -- Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams -- with more than 100 receiving yards last Sunday as the Green & White joined the Vikings as the only teams this season with multiple games where at least two receivers had at least 100 yards.

Wilson led the team with 114 yards on 7 receptions while Adams finished with 109 yards on a team-high 9 catches and 1 touchdown. His 79th score from QB Aaron Rodgers is the fourth-most in league history for any QB-WR duo. It was their 55th red-zone touchdown, which is also the fourth-most among any QB-WR.

Wilson became one of seven wideouts in NFL history with at least 80 receptions in each of his first three seasons and the first player in Jets history to do so.

"It's an absolute pain in the butt from a defensive perspective," interim HC Jeff Ulbrich said of the WRs. "Who do you double, who do you bracket, who do you put your best corner on to shadow? You got to deal with that every down with the Jets offense right now, so it provides a lot of problems and you saw that get going [Sunday] a bit, especially with a really good corner in [Jalen] Ramsey and a really good scheme in what [Miami DC Anthony] Weaver does there. It's a problem and we finally took advantage of it."

Rodgers, who threw for 339 yards and 1 TD at Miami, will line up against a Jaguars defense that's No. 31 against the pass and has allowed a league-high 23 completions and 847 yards on pass attempts of at least 20 yards.

📈 Jaguars Tackle Walker Little
Jaguars fourth-year left tackle Walker Little has allowed a 5.8% pressure rate this season, according to Next Gen Stats. That's the fourth-lowest rate among left tackles with a minimum of 150 pass-blocking snaps.

He's one of two left tackles to allow 1 sack or less this season and has yet to allow more than 4 pressures in a game. The second-round pick out of Stanford has allowed a pressure rate of 10.0% of higher one time this season (Week 9).

Walker is the anchor for an O-line that's tied for allowing the eighth-fewest sacks in the NFL. While the Jets' 37 sacks are tied for the seventh most in the league, they were unable to take down Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa last Sunday.

📉 Jets Pass Defense
The Jets pass defense is coming off its worst performance of the season as it allowed 331 yards, which is a season high. Dolphins wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle combined for 19 catches, 214 yards and 1 TD.

The Green & White was without All-Pro CB Sauce Gardner (hamstring), who is slated to play this weekend.

"It's just a thing the trainers thought was best for me, but it definitely wasn't a severe issue," Gardner said. "That's why I'm already back this week."

Gardner will line up against talented Jags rookie WR Brian Thomas Jr., but QB Mac Jones has not thrown for a touchdown in his three starts this season (he had 2 in Week 13 in relief for Trevor Lawrence).

📉 Injuries
Both teams are dealing with injuries to key players on offense. The Jaguars placed QB Trevor Lawrence, the No. 1 overall pick in 2021, on injured reserve last week with head and shoulder injuries.

The Jets, meanwhile, could be without RB Breece Hall for a second consecutive game because of a knee injury he sustained against the Colts in Week 11. It's the same knee as his ACL injury in 2022.

"If there was a structural problem from the standpoint of like impacting his future with this team or his future with his career, we would definitely shut him down and if it was the best interest of Breece," interim HC Jeff Ulbrich said Wednesday. "We're not at that point right now, so we'll see how it goes."

The Green & White's special teams took a hit when Irvin Charles, the unit's ace, was placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL and RB-KR Kene Nwangwu did not practice Wednesday because of a hand injury.

"Trying to get more information regarding the hand," Ulbrich said. "We'll see what his status will be for this game."
