Jets Make Four Moves on the O-Line

The New York Jets have signed free agent guard Marlon Davis and center Robby Felix and have waived guard Keith Buckman and center Michael Parenton. The announcement was made by Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Davis (6'2", 309) originally signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2009, before being waived on Sept. 1. He played four years for the University of Alabama and started 26 of 38 games.

Felix (6'3", 295) signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent on May 26, 2009, and was waived on Sept. 5. He was a four-year performer at UTEP, starting 46 consecutive games from 2005-08. Last year Felix played for the Las Vegas Locomotives in their inaugural UFL season.

Buckman (6'5", 321) signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent on April 30. He started 33 of 44  games while at North Dakota State.

Parenton (6'2", 287) signed with the Jets as a rookie free agent on May 1, 2009, and was waived on Sept. 5. He was signed to the Jets practice squad on Dec. 10.
